Three bedrooms and a loft with beds to accommodate 8 people. Enjoy riding ATVs or just relaxing. This cabin is located in the mountains above Mt Pleasant, about 15 minutes off the paved roads. It's located in a private, gated community and usually available to book from late spring through fall, weather permitting. There are two bedrooms and one bath on the first floor. Outside of the bedrooms is a family room with TV and wood burning stove. There is also laundry room with a washer and dryer. The second floor has the kitchen with separate island and dining area. A family room with wood burning stove that leads to the outside deck that overlooks Mt Pleasant to the west. Outdoor grill for cooking with table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Third level is a loft with TV, ping pong table, and two futons for additional sleeping. It also has a covered deck that overlooks the gorgeous mountains facing east. Bring your own ATVs to ride or rentals are also available in Mt Pleasant. You can pick-up food at the grocery store in Mt Pleasant before you head up to the cabin. Satellite TV and WiFI are also available. 4WD or all wheel drive is highly recommended

You are minutes from Blue Ribbon fishing at Scofield Reservoir where you can also water ski, jet ski, wakeboard, paddleboard, canoe, kayak. This area also has great ATV and snowmobile trails and quick access to national forest properties. This cabin sits on 3/4 of an acre of green space where you can sit around the campfire, play outdoor games, and much more. Access to the cabin is available year-round. There are two private bedrooms and one spacious room that sleeps up to 10 people. The main level has an open floor plan that invites group gatherings and is a great place to bring the group together to watch movies or play games.

Cell phones on the Verizon network get excellent reception but other cell networks can be spotty. There is a large flat screen TV and lots of movies on DVD to choose from. There is also a professional card table if your family is like mine and enjoys playing games. You will have full use of the cabin except the basement which is only partially finished and used for storage. If you need all 8 bedrooms then you will have access to the basement for the 2 finished bedrooms that are there. Although the cabin has 2 full bathrooms, that may not be adequate for really large groups. Hot showers are available free of charge 24 hours a day at a nearby location if needed. Your host will be present off and on during your stay to answer any questions you may have and to help with any issues that may arise. He will, of course, be there to provide any meals you have purchased. You must have your own transportation. For guests arriving by plane, the host will meet you at a predetermined spot near the Salt Lake City airport and guide you after you have picked up a rental car. For more local guests, or guests coming from the south, the host will meet you in Fairview, which is about 2 hours south of Salt Lake City on Highway 89. Once at the cabin, it is an hour round trip just to run to the store so bring everything you need! Other things to note Our gourmet breakfast and dinner menu is designed to give the guest an incredible western style dining experience. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know and we will try to be accommodating, but keep in mind that our menu is designed to be cooked over an open fire and served family style. Welton Woods is an expansive lodge designed to bring luxurious amenities into the great outdoors. Whether it is to keep you toasty during the colder months or relaxed during the warmer ones, it's nice to have a place to sneak away to and rest the mind. -10 Acres of land surrounding Welton Woods, perfect for outdoor events and activities. -A huge wrap-around porch which overlooks the trees and landscape below. It's fully covered and it comfortably seats 20+ people. The porch provides an ideal place to dine or enjoy each other's company. No Sunday or holiday check-ins. The last 15 or so minutes to the lodge is on a dirt road, all wheel or 4 wheel drive is recommend however it is still accessible by all vehicles. In the winter, Welton Woods is only accessible by snowcat or snowmobiles which guests can rent from us for an additional fee or our driver can take them up and bring them back down for no additional charge. We are more than willing to help schedule shuttles, caterers or other additional services of interest. We have photos of the Lodge, but, honestly, they don't nearly do the place justice. It has this amazing quality to it that makes it feel cozy despite its enormous size. We’re excited to share the magic of Welton Woods, and want to do what we can to make it possible. Description Set on 8 beautiful acres in the Central Utah Mountains, the Mount Pleasant Escape is in a vast open country atmosphere and is a great home for quiet retreats. There's so many things to do nearby: horseback riding, swimming in the local pool, driving rental ATVs and snowmobling. When you stay here around the 4th of July, don't miss the rodeo and parade as these are big attractions in the area. The home is 8000 square feet; this is the Daylight finished basement area. It has 3 large bedrooms: the first bedroom has a King bed, 2nd bedroom has Queen bed and a Twin daybed with trundle, and the 3rd bedroom has 3 metal twin beds. There's also a queen blow up mattress with pump, sheets and blankets that can be used in the family TV room area. There's one large bathroom area with double vanity and stacking washer and dryer. The patio features a seating area and a fire pit area to enjoy. This area overlooks the 1 acre Pond and barn area. Basic kitchen utensils, as well as coffee maker, rice cooker and BBQ grill are available for guest use. Kcups are also provided for the guests. If you're bringing along your little one, there's a high chair and pack n play available. Paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels, beach towels and shampoo are also available. There's AC so you can feel comfortable in the home. This property has a wheelchair area accessible via the hill walkway and the entrance is very easy to access as is the entire unit. A family of 5 lives in the upper 2 floors. If you're looking for a secluded and quiet location, this is the home for you. It's down 5 miles of dirt road and only 3 homes are 5 acres away. But it's near a Ski resort and ATV trails and rentals. There are beautiful country shops and restaurants nearby. About 3 to 5 miles is Terrell's full service grocery store next to that is Subway and a cute Italian restaurant called Cavaliers and next to this is a Mexican place El Mexicano. The space Get away to Cooper’s Cabin, a newly restored pioneer cabin in 2012. It was found in ruins in the back corner of the property. The logs were numbered by Snow College’s Traditional Building Skills Institute and reassembled behind the inn. This cabin, circa 1860, was probably standing during the Black Hawk War of which William Osborne was a veteran. The pioneers could not have conceived the luxuries we take for granted in Cooper’s Cabin. Guest access Guests are encouraged to access the entire cabin, covered porch, patio and large picnic table just outside the cabin. Also, front yard and pasture are available upon request.
